The Amateur Art Exhibit includes original artwork in oil, watercolor, sketches, needlework, photography, pottery, jewelery, sculpture, etc. An artist must be at least 55 years old and may submit up to 4 pieces of art.

This is not a competition.  There will be no judges, no prizes and no entry fee. This exhibit is also not an art sale, although artists are encouraged to include their name and phone number with their work if they are interested in selling it at a future date.

The artwork will be displayed at the New York State Power Authority (Power Vista) overlooking our wonderful international border and waterway.  The 2008 Amateur Art Exhibit can be seen by the public 7 days a week from June 30 – July 11, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Frames or suitable mounting is preferred, but not required, as long as the artwork can be displayed.

Please complete the bottom portion of this form and return it to the Council on Aging office at 1302 Main Street, Niagara Falls, NY  14301 by June 20, 2008.

Set up – June 30, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Take down – July 11, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. – Noon
