Council on Aging Picnic - Wide Water Park - Lockport, NY - 2006
The Council on Aging is made up of representatives from more than 40 senior clubs and centers across Niagara County. The Council on Aging offers many activities to help mature adults remain active, healthy and independent.
- Educational workshops and conferences
- Recreational and cultural events for seniors
- Telephone information and referral
- Photo identification program
- Programs to encourage advance care planning
- Informative cable TV show, “Young at Heart”
- Partnerships to promote wellness and fitness
The Council on Aging meets at 1:00 p.m. at the Wheatfield Community/Senior Center on the first Monday of each month, with the exception of July and August.

Council on Aging 32nd Annual Bowling FestivalMay 12, 2008 | |

Each team must consist of 5 bowlers – incomplete teams will not be accepted. All male, all female, or combination teams are welcome. Bowlers will receive a handicap of 80% of the difference between their average and 180 pins. Bowlers without averages will be given one (women 110, men 130).
