HANCI - Services - Golden Age Program

2006 Trip to Erie Locks
Based at Niagara Towers on Cedar Avenue in Niagara Falls, the Golden Age Program is part of the Council for Older Adults.
This program keeps older adults connected. Members enjoy day trips, special breakfasts and dinners, social activities and craft classes in senior centers and other group settings.
Membership is $6 per year. Other funding comes from the City of Niagara Falls, the United Way of Niagara, and the New York State Office for the Aging.
Recently, Golden Age Program sponsored a luncheon cruise at the Erie Canal. Captain Mike at the Lockport Locks served as a tour guide for the group, and took them through the locks, explaining how they work, their age and history.
