HANCI - Services - Afternoon Reading All-Stars
Open to at-risk 2nd and 3rd graders from Abate and Hyde Park Schools in Niagara Falls, this program serves students who are struggling with reading. This program is proven to help students achieve higher reading levels, while also offering activities that promote nutrition, socialization, physical activity, and an appreciation of the arts.
The program runs four days a week from 3 to 5:30 p.m., from mid-October through April.
Major funding for 2011-12 is provided by the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, the Providence Fund of the Stella Niagara Franciscans, Niacet Corporation, Unifrax Corporation, and the Walmart Foundation.
Space is limited, so students must be referred by their teachers. To learn more, or to make a contribution to sustain the program, please send us a message.
